Kathleen McClave is a Principal in the headquarters office of Towers Perrin. Ms. McClave has over 20 years of experience in designing and performing consulting engagements with financial services companies, including strategic and organizational planning, integrated distribution and channel management, risk management and enhanced corporate governance. Her focus at Towers Perrin is on developing and managing relationships with executives of financial services client companies whose human capital planning and management needs are broad and complex. Ms. McClave also has a global management role with the Human Capital Group of Towers Perrin.

Prior to joining Towers Perrin, Ms. McClave was Associate Dean of Marketing and Business Development for The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her time with Wharton, Ms. McClave was a Principal in Towers Perrin’s Tillinghast line of business where she led the North American banking industry and distribution practices.

Ms. McClave has been a central banker, commercial banker and entrepreneur. Ms. McClave spent nine years as an officer in the Federal Reserve System before moving to the private sector. Her clients have included senior executives at some of the largest financial services companies. In her consulting assignments, Ms. McClave provides advisory services for senior executives, their teams and their boards in designing and implementing new ways to improve the return on human capital investments and engage key talent to improve performance and grow.

She is a frequent contributor to industry and proprietary publications and a speaker at industry and management conclaves. She is member of the Editorial Board of Commercial Lending Review. Ms. McClave holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Utah.
