Conferences

The Financial Institutions Center hosts annual conferences which bring together experts from multiple disciplines which include academics, policy makers and practioners to present their current research which is at the forefront of our understanding of financial systems, financial regulations and financial institutions.

Our largest annual Liquidity and Financial Crises conference has grown in both attendance and research impact. The goal of this unique event is to promote discussion amongst its diverse participants on this important and ever changing topic. The conference is organized by Franklin Allen (Imperial College London), Itay Goldstein (Wharton Finance Dept) and Guillermo Ordonez (Penn Economics Dept.).

The Financial Institutions Center also supports and co-sponsors workshops, roundtables and conferences for academic research with instituitons such as the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, The Clearing House, and the Department of Finance, University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign
